Hello everyone

Buying 2 fans for the GPU and can not decide between Venturi HP-12 PWM PWM 1800rpm and SP120 High Performance Edition 2350rpm.
They have similar CFM, 61.4 vs. 62.7 while Corsair have better static pressure, 2.3 vs.3.1.

And the Venturi is quieter :)

I already have Accelero S1 Plus the HD7870 LE and two Scythe 120mm 1900rpm and keep them at about 1600rpm when I play.

What would you recommend, Venturi or SP120?
It will be connected to the GPU with Gelid PWM Y Cable+Gelid PWM VGA Adaptor so i can adjust speed.

Thank you.

Hello Veky,
if you are searching pure performance leave the SP120 and go with the twister storm or NF-F12 3k rpm:
http://www.coolingtechnique.com/recensioni/air-cooling/ventole/1561-recensione-enermax-twister-storm-3500rpm.html
Scythe gentle typhoon 3 and 5.4k rpm are a good choice aswell if you can still found them.

rather if you want a balanced fan venturi, NF-F12, grand flex, twister pressure, silencio FP120 are all good choice, just check wich one will accomodate your needs better,

Thank you for answer,i want balanced fan,3k rpm fans are to loud and overkill for my GPU :)

For several days I am looking for a fan and after elimination method I left the choice between these two.
I looked at your test of SP120 and I know you have not yet tested Venturi but Venturi looks to me like a more quality fan.

I know that is a maybe stupid question because you didnt test it yet but what you think, which of these two fans would be better at 1800rpm?

on paper venturi looks pretty interesting rather than the SP120, also the acustic spectrum should be far more accurate on the fractal.
Don't trow away however F12 from noctua and the twister pressure from enermax, both are pretty interesting solution, here some graph for your reference:

will try to review the Venturi as soon as possible.

After all the googling and reading reviews only now I see that Venturi dont have "open space" between mounting holes :(

and i need it because of this, this is my card with underlays

and this is without underlays :D

Corsair SP120 have space between holes

HUGE minus for Fractal :(

I think that Noctua F12 is too slow for this purpose so i dont wanna risk and the store where i buying this dont have Enermax Twister so i will buy Corsair SP120 High Performance Edition.

Many thanks for replies and I can not wait for your review of Venturi HP-12 PWM because i also need 4 fans for PC case :)

EDIT: Or i can cut that "tunnel" with scalpel on two corners that i need for underlays..
I hate dilemmas :nono:

You can cut those easily, maybe just the spot to accommodate retention.
Also I can't see pretty well the pics(I'm from my mobile right now) but those "underlays" are not needed. You can use just longer zip tie for securing the venturi to the heat sink.
sent with my RM-825eu

I decided to buy NOCTUA NF-F12 PWM industrialPPC-2000 :) ,they are a little more expensive but i think that i can not go wrong with them.
I need "underlays" because of bending :D

those are excellent fans.
Pretty sure you will improve performance of your system, good choice;)
