"Berlin, 14th September 2010 – The cooling specialist Prolimatech is undoubtedly one of the most
successful cooling manufacturers in the market today. A long list of awards from all around the
world are evidence of the brute cooling power of the Megahalems, MK-13, Armageddon, Samuel 17
and Super Mega. Prolimatech is now expanding their line-up with 140 mm fans, which are not only
the perfect addition to their own coolers, but are also present an excellent choice as case fans.
The history of Prolimatech is extraordinary. No other cooler manufacturer can look back on such a success
story. Megahalems: a reference CPU cooler and countless award winner. MK.-13: a reference VGA cooler
with outstanding performance, quality and compatibility. Samuel 17: a reference cooler for compact
enclosures. PK-1: multiple award winning thermal paste. Armageddon and Super Mega: the new stars on
the cooling horizon. This is the successful line-up of which the Blue Vortex and Red-Vortex are aiming to
become part of.

As the name suggests, the 140 mm large Blue Vortex comes equipped with blue fan blades, while the Red
Vortex has red ones. The Blue Vortex goes for the understated look, while the Red Vortex has been
constructed with semi-transparent plastic and comes equipped with red LEDs for an extravagant lighting
aspect. Both fans have been developed and optimized for the use with the Prolimatech Armageddon. The
Blue and Red Vortex generate a relatively high air pressure to be able to push a lot of volume through the
thin fins of the CPU cooler.

Due to the high quality bearings, both the Blue Vertex and Red Vertex manage to run silently, which
translates to a mere 18.1 db(A) at 1000 rotations per minute, while using 12 V. The operating voltage of the
Prolimatech fans lies between 7 V and 13.8 V, while they draw 2.4 W. Due to the large 140 mm fans, both
impress with their ability to push 145.8 m³/h of air. The Vortex Blue and Vortex Red come equipped with a 3-
pin connector, while an additional adapter to Molex is part of the accessories of each fan.
Both the Prolimatech Blue Vortex 140 mm and the Red Vortex 140 mm LED fan are available immediately
for 9.90 € at www.caseking.de."
